Ramesh Mashelkar

Ramesh Raghunath Mashelkar is an Indian chemical engineer and former Director-General of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR). He is known for his research in the area of polymer science and engineering, and has been recognized with numerous awards and honors for his contributions to science and technology. Mashelkar has also been a vocal advocate for science-based policy and the use of science and technology to drive social and economic development in India. He has served on a number of national and international advisory boards and committees, and has been widely recognized for his leadership and contributions to the field of science and technology.
